Bio

Kem Roper is a college professor and Writing Center Director at Athens State University in Athens, AL. She holds an undergraduate degree in Communications from Oakwood University, a Master’s in English from the University of Alabama in Huntsville and a PhD in English Rhetoric and Composition from the University of Louisville.

She is a freelance writer and blogger and has a passion for creative work. When she’s not spending time with her favorites—Everett, Eryn and Edyn—she’s probably on the back porch with a book, her journal and a cup of something warm.
